1. PARIVESH .
Sub-themes discussed
PARIVESH was launched in August 2018 to achieve the
Hon’ble PM’s vision of reducing the time taken for
granting Environment, Forest, Wildlife and Coastal
Regulation Zone (CRZ) clearances.
The enhanced PARIVESH will have the following key
benefits:
o e-KYC using PAN, CIN or Aadhar.
o Better Process Synchronization.
o Compliance monitoring - Leveraging Emerging
Technologies.
o Workflow Automation for all green clearances
The envisaged PARIVESH is planned to be launched
by the end of 2022.
Salient features of integration of New Forest
Conservation Rules, 2022 with enhanced PARIVESH:
o Reduction of Turn Around Time (TAT)
o Powers have been delegated to the Integrated
Regional Offices (IRO)
o Land Bank in the State for Compensatory
Afforestation
