6. Agro-Forestry .

Outcomes

 Ministry to prepare a draft Model Act/ Rules which

can be shared will all states/ UTs for promotion of

agroforestry.

 Ministry will involve ICFRE, other research

institutions, state government representatives and

experts while drafting Model Act/ Rules for

promotion of agroforestry.

 After bringing out necessary relaxations in the

regulatory and legal regime, emphasis should be

given to development of market linkages and

assured income for growers
