EKTA NAGAR RESOLUTION

We all affirm to,

1. Integrate and institutionalise, mission life to promote
environment-friendly lifestyle for collective climate action and
green growth.

2. Adopt, effective wildlife management strategies enunciated in
national wildlife action plan to safeguard wildlife, their habitats
and to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts.

3. Recognise, the potential of agroforestry in making the country
self-sufficient in wood and wood-products, creating
employment and income opportunities for farmers and
achieving the NDC targets, by encouraging agroforestry
through suitable policy regime, incentives and enabling legal
framework.

4. Acknowledge the role played by forest in food and nutritional
security of people dependent on it and therefore accelerate the
efforts for enhancing the productivity of forests.

5. Enhance the resource and manpower support for the cause of
sustainable management of forest and wildlife. 31
