Survey and Utilization (SU)

Introduction

Survey and Utilization Division deals with following works:

1. All matters related to Forest Survey of India (FSI) except establishment.
2. All matters related to Andaman and Nicobar Islands Forest and Plantation Development Corporation Limited (ANIFPDCL).
3. Export and import matter related to wood and wood products, particularly Sandalwood and Red Sanders.
4. International Tropical Timber Organization  (ITTO)-Nodal Division.
5. International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR)-related matters.
6. Matters related to Wood Based Industries.
7. North Eastern  CELL  (NE Cell).
8. Matters related to Forest Development Corporations.
9. Forestry Trade Tariff for Multilateral Trade Negotiation.
10. Nodal division for scheme 13 ‘Strengthen of Forestry Division’ (FSI, Network of Regional Office, NFIS, Certification, NTFP).
